COMPETITION RULES OF ENTRY
The competition is worldwide and is open to anyone who wishes to enter. There are no age restrictions.
You must have a Youtube channel to enter. Only videos upoaded to Youtube will be valid entries.
Only 1 entry per Youtube channel is permitted.
In order to create a level playing field for all entrants, no post audio editing will be accepted. It's absoultely fine to add post processing to your lead track but no punch ins will be accepted. Please be sure that both hands
are clearly visible during the performance. Any performance audio deemed to have been altered will not be accepted.
All entries must be titled as follows: Carl Martin FX Competition Entry - (Your Name). Please be sure to tag both Carl Martin FX
and Rick Graham in your video entry.
In order for your entry to be accepted, you must post your video as a video response to the official Carl Martin FX competition video, subscribe to Rick Graham's Youtube channel and 'Like' the Carl Martin Facebook page.
PRIZES
1st prize: Carl Martin FX dual channel plexitone pedal plus the winners choice of either a Red Repeat or Rock Bug pedal.
2nd Prize: Carl Martin FX single channel Plexitone pedal
3rd Prize: Carl Martin FX AC Tone pedal
PERFORMANCE
You are free to do as you wish over the backing track whether it be solo over the entire BT or create a compostition. Either way, whatever you choose to play should enhance the music that is already there. What the judges will be looking for is a healthy balance of technique and musicianship.
CLOSING DATE
The competition will close on 12th September 2013. The judges decision will be final.
